Jill Osier Announced as the Winner of the 2019 Yale Series of Younger Poets

Jill Osier, winner of the 2013 Frost Place Chapbook Competition, has won the 2019 Yale Series of Younger Poets. Her manuscript, The Solace Is Not the Lullaby, was selected by Carl Phillips. Read more here.

 

jill-osier.jpgJill Osier’s work has been awarded a Literature Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Frost Place Chapbook Fellowship, Poetry Society of America’s Alice Fay Di Castagnola Award, and an Alaska Literary Award. She is the author of the chapbooks Bedful of Nebraskas (sunnyoutside, 2012), Should Our Undoing Come Down Upon Us White (Bull City Press, 2013), and from (Bull City Press, 2018). Her poems appear widely.
