Oliver Baez Bendorf is the author of two books of poetry, The Spectral Wilderness (Kent State University Press, 2015) and the forthcoming Advantages of Being Evergreen (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, September 2019), which won that press’s Open Book Poetry Competition. He is also the recipient of fellowships from CantoMundo, Lambda Literary, Vermont Studio Center, and University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Institute of Creative Writing. His work has appeared in numerous publications including American Poetry Review, BOMB, The Feminist Wire, Poetry Magazine, and Troubling the Line: Trans and Genderqueer Poetry and Poetics, among others.
