Frost Place Faculty Members to Give Reading at Bear Pond Books Against Gun Violence

MONTPELIER, VT.–Bear Pond Books is hosting a poetry reading Friday, November 2  titled, “Bullets into Bells: Poets & Citizens Respond to Gun Violence”. The reading will feature Major Jackson, Brian Clements, and Kerrin McCadden, along with gun survivors and activists Clai Lasher-Sommers, Abbey Clements and a representative from Newtown Action Alliance at the Unitarian Church in Montpelier.Mathew Olzmann is a former TFP faculty member, Major Jackson was the 2004 resident poet at The Frost Place, and Kerrin McCadden is the Associate Director of the Conference on Poetry and Teaching. The event starts at 7:30 pm.
