Tomorrow, January 9, 2018 at 7 PM, two former Frost Place Poets in Residence, Robert Hass and Christina Hutchins, will read from their poetry collections at the Albany Library in Albany, CA.
Robert Hass was Christina Hutchins’s teacher during her graduate studies in poetry at U.C. Berkeley. Now the two poets share space on the back wall of the Henry Holt Barn at The Frost Place as former Poets in Residence— Hass was the 2nd Poet in Residence in 1978 and Hutchins the 41st this past summer.
Next Tuesday they will come together in Albany, CA to read their work, remark on their Frost Place experiences, and share thoughts on poetry as a force for truth, for community, and for sparking imaginative action in our world.
