Read “The Thin Wall” by Martha Rhodes

Martha Rhodes is the author of five poetry collections, most recently The Thin Wall (2017 from Pitt Poetry Series, University of Pittsburgh Press). She has directed the Conference on Poetry at The Frost Place since 2010 and is a former member of the board of trustees of The Frost Place. She teaches at the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College and at Sarah Lawrence College. She is the director of Four Way Books. 

Martha Rhodes is an incredible poet and fantastic teacher. Apply to the Conference on Poetry for a chance to study and write poetry with her this summer. In the meantime, read Rhodes’s poem “The Thin Wall” from her newest collection.
